Privacy
This notice covers the pre-launch website volt.dating. A full privacy notice for the app will be published before it launches.
1. Who is responsible
BM International Holding B.V., Ijbruglaan 1495, 1087 KM Amsterdam, Netherlands (KvK 78052769) is the controller for this website. Contact for all privacy questions: [email protected].
2. What this website processes
When you open volt.dating, our server processes your IP address and browser details only for as long as it takes to deliver the page and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our server logs deliberately contain no IP addresses and no browser details: they only record the time, the requested page and the response status.
This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. We do not link visits to any other service or project.
3. Service providers
Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany) hosts the server in Nuremberg under a data processing agreement.
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) provides the domain name service and, once switched on, passes traffic through its network. It can see IP addresses in the process. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Mailjet SAS (France) will send emails for the app once it launches. This website sends no emails.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Articles 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to [email protected].
5. Complaints
You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to the authority in your EU/EEA country of residence (Art. 77 GDPR).
6. Legal framework
Data protection at VOLT is governed by the GDPR (in particular Articles 5, 6, 12 to 22 and 32) and by the Dutch implementation act, the UAVG (Uitvoeringswet Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming), in particular Article 5 (age limit for consent by minors), Articles 22 to 30 (special categories of personal data) and Article 41 (restrictions of data subject rights).
7. Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising technologies, so no consent banner is needed (ePrivacy Directive). If we ever introduce them, we will ask for your consent first, with no pre-ticked boxes and with refusing as easy as accepting.
If a personal data breach puts your rights at risk, we report it to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens within 72 hours and inform you where required (Articles 33 and 34 GDPR). Transfers outside the EU rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses (Chapter V GDPR).
